Marta Domènech

Education

I hold a degree in Journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and a postgraduate degree in Communication and Cultural Management (URL).

Experience

For over fifteen years, I have dedicated my professional career to cultural management and public policy consulting in the cultural and educational fields. I have always understood culture and education as two essential drivers for social transformation, and I have worked with this belief from a committed and collaborative perspective.

I was a co-worker and president of the cooperative LA TAULA for nearly seven years, a company specialized in linking culture and sustainability. From there, we promoted projects in production, dissemination, community engagement, and strategic planning, working hand in hand with institutions and local administrations across the territory.

I feel especially connected to the municipal level, which I consider a key space for activating real and sustainable change at the local level. I have also actively participated in the associative sector, and between 2017 and 2020, I served as Vice President of the Association of Cultural Management Professionals of Catalonia (APGCC).

My path led me to join the Bofill Foundation in October 2023, to coordinate the Education 360 Alliance. From this position, I work to promote more equitable and connected education, with a strong belief that educational time must extend beyond school and guarantee real opportunities for all children and young people.
