Xavier Geis was the director of the Rellinars school from the time of its creation. He is a member of the Secretariat of the Rural Schools of Catalonia as well as the coordinator of a working group formed by the the aforementioned Secretariat and the Autonomous University of Barcelona’s Education Sciences Institute (ICE). He is also a trainer of the ICE and he collaborates with the University Foundation of the Bages Region (FUB).
At the present time, he has been granted a period of secondment by the Government of Catalonia’s Education Department to coordinate the training of the programme “Magnet. Alliances for Educational Success”.
