Sílvia Zurita

Holder of a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (UB), Sílvia Zurita has extensive experience as a teacher and as a teacher trainer, especially in areas linked to educational innovation in the fields of Sciences and Technology. She has taken part in such European projects as Ingenious and Go Lab, and she has coordinated the Roboresme working group. At present she is working on the coordination of the Magnet project, promoted by the Government of Catalonia’s Education Department and Fundació Bofill, and she teaches classes in the master’s degree in Teacher Training of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

She says that she would not know how to work without enthusiasm for what she does, and that learning and collaborating to improve the place where we live are two things that are well worth the effort.
