Montse Dalmau

She has extensive experience in communication of educational, social and cultural institutions. Montse promoted the creation of the communication area at BSM-Pompeu Fabra University, positioning the teaching staff of that institution as an expert source for the mass media and fostering the institution’s digital presence in the social networks. During the last four years, she has worked in the third sector from the Communication Department of the Pere Tarrés Foundation, situating the organisation’s professionals as referents in educational, social and recreational topics, and she has disseminated educational activities in recreation which, together with the family and the school, is one of the three educational spheres of children and young people in Catalonia. She is convinced that journalism, as a professional activity, should be a guarantee of democracy, civility and social cohesion.
She is currently in charge of communication for the Magnet project, which promotes educational equity in Catalonia.
