Marta Requeno

Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administration Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), post-graduate degree in International Development Agents from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), and master’s degree in Public and Administration Policies (The Johns Hopkins University and UPF).

Marta Requeno has been linked professionally for over six years to social consultancy focused on work with the public, private and third sectors. She is specialised in strategic and operational planning and in the comprehensive improvement of processes, and she has accompanied several organisations in the definition of their strategic lines and levers of action for the enhancement of their work and their impact on society. She has also been in charge of steering processes to promote non-formal education projects in the socio-educational field in order to strengthen positive parenting skills, assessing their impact and scalability. Additionally, she has carried out research in the field of social exclusion and has been at the head of volunteering programmes.

She has also worked as a specialised trainer in internal participation within social organisations, and in participative processes and fund-raising.

Over the course of her career, Marta has also been linked to Amnesty International as a member of the Spanish Executive Committee and of the group specialised in Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. She has also been linked to the enhancement of the local activism groups. She has likewise worked at the open centre of the children’s NGO Casal dels Infants and she has coordinated activities of the “L’estiu és teu” (The Summer is Yours) municipal programme.
