Josep Maria Bayer
Josep Maria Bayer studied Economics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and he obtained the €FPA certification as a European Financial Advisor (EFA) from Institut d’Estudis Financers in 2007. He began his professional activity in the bank sector, first at Bankpime, where he was a risk analyst, a branch office manager and a commercial director, and later at Banc Sabadell, where he also held various management positions.
He entered the foundation field in 2006, becoming the director of Fundació Institut Pacis, which merged with Fundació Jaume Bofill in December of 2017, at which time he took charge of the institution’s financial and assets management. He has also been a member of several boards of administration (Josep M. Raventós i Blanc, CEFRUSA, Enginergy SL, Edificis Catedral, among others). Since March of 2014, he has been a member the executive board and the treasurer of the Coordinadora Catalana de Fundacions (Catalan Association for the Coordination of Foundations).
Aside from his professional responsibilities, he loves everything that has to do with the mountains and the landscape.
