HUB SOCIAL - Fundació Bofill
C/ Girona, 34 InteriorSee mapa
The Bofill Foundation has led a pioneering randomized control trial (RCT), the first of this type applied to educational programs in Spain, with more than 230 schools and over 10,000 students. Many interesting conclusions arise from this experience, and even more relevant questions to be asked and debated. In this conference we will talk, share and learn from all different stakeholders partaking in improving educational opportunities for young people and children, especially those at-risk: educators, researchers, academics, nonprofits and government agencies.
We will think about how do researchers can work together with schools in order to ensure successful investigations that, in turn, respond to the schools’ needs and demands, and become practical tools to be used afterwards.
We will analyse national and international experiences that successfully have transformed research results in public policy, ensuring that we put in place evidence-based programs that work and are effective in reducing educational inequality.
On November 23rd (9am-1:30pm) we will be discussing all these and more. We look forward to seeing you at the HUB SOCIAL!
