Mònica Nadal

With a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Mònica Nadal also holds an MPhil in Women’s Studies from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). Since May 2014, she has been the Research director and a member of the executive team of Fundació Bofill, and she was previously the institution’s head of Forecasting (2009-2014).

From 2002 to 2009, Mònica Nadal was in charge of Fundació Jaume Bofill’s Immigration Area. She has also been the codirector of the annual report The State of Immigration in Catalonia and she has written several articles and held conferences and courses on immigration and the management of diversity. In addition to other positions, she held that of vice president of the Diversity Panel of the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia from 2005 to 2009.
