Roser Argemí

Roser Argemí graduated in Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and holds a DEA in Sciences de l’Éducation from the Rouen University. She also completed the master’s degree in Social Exclusion and Cultural Diversity at CIDOB.

She has been working at Fundació Jaume Bofill since 1999 on projects connected with education, community and networking; cultural diversity; education in values; and social inequalities and education, including the following ones: Calidoscopi; TRAMA; Joves, creació i comunitat (Young people, creation, and community); Temps de barri (Neighbourhood time); Temps educatiu compartit (Shared education time); Aprenentatge Servei (Service Learning); and Conciutadania Intercultural (Intercultural Con-citizenship), among others. For ten years she has coordinated the Education Debates organised by Fundació Jaume Bofill together with the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), and she is currently coordinating the programme Magnet. Alliances for Educational success.

She has also been a member of the school council of Barcelona’s Fructuós Gelabert School and she is now a member of the school council of La Sedeta Secondary School in Barcelona.

She firmly believes in the value of collaborative work to progress towards the enhancement of education in Catalonia.
